Marching Forward!

March 22nd – Neighborhood Spring Cleanup

Please join us on Saturday, March 22nd, in partnership with the City of Richmond Department of Public Works, for our Neighborhood Cleanup. Residents will need to have their discards out by 8:00am.   If there are appliances, please call Clean City Commission 646-8325 a few days prior to March 21st.  If unusual weather is predicted eg. hurricane, tornado… it will be cancelled, otherwise, rain or shine, we’ll see you there!  Remember no building materials or hazardous waste will be picked up.

We solicit your help!  Any amount of your time is appreciated.  We will meet at 2500 Seminary Ave. behind the church at 8:00 am.  Come join us and enjoy the fellowship!

Come attend our March 25th Neighborhood Meeting!  6pm – 7pm;  4th Precinct, 2219 Chamberlayne Avenue.   Lt. Christopher Gleason  from the Police Department will update us on Community concerns .

New officers will be elected and many topics discussed including our upcoming Appreciation Program and Block Party!

Mr. Stan Southworth will be our guest speaker who will be representing the Partnership For Families Northside.  This organization, also known as PFFN, is an umbrella organization for more than a dozen established nonprofits that work together to help North Richmond parents and caregivers from all walks of life flourish, so they can better prepare their children for success in kindergarten and beyond.  If you are a North Richmond resident parenting a child younger than 5, a North Richmond child’s caregiver, or an individual organization interested in helping young children and their families thrive, PFFN is here to support you.
